Giving Back

100% of our profits go to Operation Olive Branch. Every shirt, hat, sticker, and bottle you buy here helps fund direct aid for families and communities in Gaza, Sudan, and Congo. Please note: we have no affiliation with Operation Olive Branch. Our strategy of punk and abrassive messaging would likely clash with theirs, but we trust in their mission.

Who is Operation Olive Branch?

Operation Olive Branch (OOB) is a volunteer-powered, majority BIPOC-led nonprofit founded in February 2024. In their own words, they are "committed to collective liberation," and they defer to the voices and leadership of the communities they serve in Gaza, Congo, and Sudan.

OOB started in the comment section of a social media post, with people asking "what more can I do to help?" It grew into a global network of volunteers and creators whose videos and livestreams raise money for families.

What they do

  • Verify family fundraisers. Scams have followed this crisis, with stolen photos used to divert donations. OOB volunteers run a multi-step check on each family's campaign and social media before listing it on a public spreadsheet of 800+ verified families and mutual aid groups, so donors can give with confidence.
  • Fund direct aid on the ground. With local partners, OOB built and supports Ard Al Zaytoon, a family encampment in Gaza for pregnant women, new mothers, and families with medical needs and disabilities. It provides food, shelter, water, electricity, Wi-Fi, and on-site medical care.
  • Support mothers and babies. The OOB Perinatal Project delivers prenatal, postpartum, and infant care supplies to mothers facing starvation and shortages of medical care.
  • Back local heroes. OOB's aid partners include Pal Humanity, run by two sister doctors who operate mobile medical caravans and checkpoints in the camps, and Amani Alkahlout, a cook and food blogger who feeds hundreds of families and directs the Perinatal Project.
  • Amplify Palestinian voices. OOB helps families tell their own stories online and organizes livestreams that bring in thousands of dollars at a time.

Beyond Gaza

OOB's work does not stop at Gaza. The same model of verified, community-led direct aid supports people facing war and displacement in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their partners include Khartoum Aid Kitchen, which serves meals to families in Sudan, and Focus Congo, a community-based organization in eastern Congo. Your purchase supports all of this work.

Why direct aid

Large aid organizations struggle to get help through to families in places like Gaza, where humanitarian access is severely restricted. Grassroots, on-the-ground partners can still reach people. That is why we chose OOB.
